On Saturday, Gus Malzahn and the UCF Knights did it again, adding another impressive prospect to the Class of 2025.

UCF added the services of four-star wide receiver Carl Jenkins Jr, who chose the Knights over Mississippi State, Louisville, and USF.

Coming out of St. Augustine High School in the Class of 2025, Jenkins is listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 548th-ranked player. He also checks in as the 86th-ranked receiver in his class and the 71st-ranked player in the state of Florida. Jenkins was awarded a fourth star by Rivals.

An impressive player in his class, Jenkins chose the Knights over offers from 32 different programs, including Kansas, Iowa State, Texas A&M, Louisville, Iowa, Miami, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and more.

With his commitment, Jenkins became the Knights’ 11th addition to the Class of 2025 and joins a group headlined by four-star safety Kendarius Reddick, four-star running back Taevion Swint, and four-star safety Tony Williams.

Jenkins and the rest of the future Knights will have an opportunity to see their team take the field for the first time in 2024 on Thursday, August 29th, against New Hampshire.
