Xavier Worthy has had himself quite a year. He helped lead the Texas Longhorns to a Big 12 Championship and College Football Playoff Berth.

He went to the Combine and recorded an NFL record 40-time of 4.21 seconds, then proceeded to be the Kansas City Chiefs’ No. 28 overall pick.

It’s not all sunshine and rainbows for the rookie, though, as Kansas City’s FOX4 has confirmed reports that Worthy’s car was stolen overnight earlier this week.

Andrew Lynch of FOX4, shared a few details on the the situation and what transpired on Monday, according to the Kansas City Police Department.

“According to KCPD, Worthy’s vehicle was parked, secured, and intact in the parking garage at Two Light Apartments on Monday, May 13,” Lynch writes. “On Monday at 6:50 a.m., Worthy returned to the garage to find that his vehicle was missing. At 11:48 a.m., Worthy contacted police to report a stolen vehicle.”

NBC reports that the car was stolen by a “professional group of criminals,” though no carjacking or injuries occurred.

There’s been no confirmation on what kind of vehicle was stolen, but it sounds like the rookie wideout might have to find himself a new set of wheels if he hopes to keep impressing Andy Reid at the Chiefs’ minicamp.
