In the twilight hours of the national capital, India got its 16th prime minister when Narendra Modi was administered the oath of office and secrecy by President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday (June 9). Also, the much needed aid has finally been delivered into Gaza from a newly repaired US-built pier, US Central Command announced on Saturday (June 8).

In other news from around the world, at least 10 people are feared dead as a bus rolled down a gorge in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday (Jun 9). The bus was returning from Shivkhoda temple to Katra.
