Willie Harvey Jr. is headed back to the NFL.

After a standout season with the St. Louis BattleHawks, the former Cyclone was invited to a tryout camp with the Dallas Cowboys, and officially signed with the team Tuesday, the first day UFL players were allowed to.

Harvey Jr. lit up the statsheet in the UFL, leading the league with 79 tackles – a career best number for him no matter the team he was playing on.

The former Cleveland Brown also collected four sacks, nine tackles for loss and six pass break-ups.

Harvey Jr. went undrafted before signing with the Browns on two separate occasions between 2019 and 2021. While he didn’t play professionally during the 2022 season, he joined the BattleHawks in 2023 and remained with the team before joining up with Dallas.

Fellow former Cyclone Hakeem Butler had a tryout with the Carolina Panthers last week, but Jacksonville is considering signing the UFL’s offensive player of the year at the same time.
