Amid ongoing students’ protests in Bangladesh, rioters stormed a jail on Friday in the central district of Narsingdi and freed the prison’s inmates before setting the facility on fire. The largest IT outage in global history was reported today. From aviation to banking to infrastructure, various industries in Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas have been affected. The outage was reportedly caused by a disruption in the cloud services of Microsoft. In other news, US President Joe Biden’s campaign chair has insisted that the president is “absolutely” staying in the race and remains capable of defeating the GOP leader.
