Jelani played at Limestone University for his final two collegiate seasons, racking up 1,681 receiving yards and 19 touchdowns. He earned All-Conference honors twice.

After being selected by Dave Boller and the St. Louis Battlehawks, Baker now has made the decision to jump to the UFL for the 2025 season. There is an opt-out in the LOI for NFL opportunities, though, until December 31st of this year.
