Rachael Ray gave an update on her health after she appeared to be slurring her words in a cooking video last month.

The 56-year-old chef revealed on the debut episode of her podcast, “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead,” that she recently suffered “a couple of bad falls,” but didn’t go into more detail.

“I’m a homemaker. I love chores. I love being in the kitchen,” Ray said on Tuesday’s podcast episode featuring guest Jenny Mollen. “I always work with my brain everyday, I’m always writing something, but I really like chores.”

“I like what people consider physical work,” she continued. “I like making dinner, planning dinners, making lists. I love physical labor, helping carry in the wood.”

Ray added, “I’ve had a couple of bad falls in the last couple of weeks, so I haven’t been doing that in a while.”

The former “Rachael Ray Show” host explained that she gets competitive with her husband, John Cusimano, 57, while doing the physical tasks.

“‘How many pieces of wood did John carry? Can I carry more? I don’t say that to John. I just say it to myself,” she shared.

In early September, fans became concerned about Ray’s health after she seemingly slurred her words in an Instagram clip from her “Rachael Ray in Tuscany” series.

Ray made Tony Bennett’s favorite dish, ossobuco, while recalling the time the late singer came over for dinner and slipped on her polished kitchen floor.

However, fans were distracted by the way Ray was speaking in the video.

“I love you but are you ok? I’m seriously concerned,” read one of the many comments about the state of her health.

Others, however, defended Ray and noted that “she’s aging like the rest of us” and could be on medication for a medical condition.

Ray still has not addressed her controversial video, even when she announced her first-ever podcast earlier this month.

“I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead,” according to an official description of the podcast, will touch on how Ray and her guests “face life’s challenges,” with a “melting pot” of conversations.

The description also said there’s “no topic off-limits” on the podcast.

During the first episode, Ray also revealed she gets in “huge screaming matches all the time” with her husband, who she’s been married to since 2005.

However, Ray said she thinks the fights are “healthy” for her and Cusimano’s relationship, and that they rarely “apologize” to each other.

“Eventually I pat him on his ass or he kisses me on the head, and that’s just sort of it,” she said. “That’s the apology. It’s just sort of understood. ‘I still like your ass.’ ‘I still like your head.’ It’s kind of in that zone.”
