Chicago Sky F Angel Reese has agreed to a multiyear endorsement contract extension with Reebok, including a “signature shoe release” in 2026. Reebok Head of Basketball Jide Osifeso said the company will work on a “ground-up build” of Reese’s “signature silhouette.” She is one of five active WNBA players with a signature shoe deal, joining N.Y. Liberty F Breanna Stewart (Puma) and G Sabrina Ionescu, Las Vegas Aces C A’ja Wilson and Indiana Fever G Caitlin Clark (Nike). (ESPN.com, 10/24).
Reese on her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast said she and Reebok have “already kicked off the design process.” Reese will be the “second WNBA player to receive a signature model with the brand” after Basketball HOFer Rebecca Lobo introduced her shoe in 1997 (COMPLEX, 10/24). Reese and Reebok’s partnership began in October 2023, when Reese — then a college player at LSU — became Reebok’s first long-term NIL signing. Reebok Reese in August released Reese’s first-ever collaborative collection, dubbed Reebok by Angel, that featured “three reimagined sneakers” (FOOTWEAR NEWS, 10/24).
