Despite having a stellar rookie season, Angel Reese met an abrupt end, just when her team needed her the most. It all began with a game against the Sparks, where the league’s leader in rebounds scored an impressive 24 points. Just when she thought everything was going right, she landed on her left wrist. It was a hairline fracture that cost her the season’s end and, ultimately, a playoff spot for the Chicago Sky. Sad right? However, it seems the rookie has moved past the regret.

In a recent story uploaded to her social media account, she wrote, “We will make the playoffs next year.” The post was made from a hotel room, where she was watching Breanna Stewart’s New York Liberty face the Atlanta Dream in Round 1. But that wasn’t the only update from Reese. According to another post on her story, she’s currently 2,041 miles away from the Sky.

After flying on a private jet, Reese landed in a Los Angeles hotel room. To make the trip memorable, she even matched her outfit to the plane, flexing some bling and Chanel purses. Before relaxing in a white robe, she slayed in a leopard print miniskirt. Everything was mere preparation.

It all unfolded when she posted a picture of herself with “Big Whit” at the stadium. Unexpectedly, the Chicago Sky All-Star forward was at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood to attend the game between the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers. This time, she opted for a belly shirt paired with denim cargo shorts—just perfect! But the preparation wasn’t just about participating as an audience member; it was more about meeting former Rams player Andrew Whitworth.

What’s next for Angel Reese after the injury?

It’s great to see Reese taking some time off the court. The 22-year-old Maryland native finished her rookie season on a double-double streak, even averaging an impressive 13.6 points per game. Since she’s recovering right now, it’s more important to stay strong mentally and emotionally.

What’s better than attending a game as a spectator? WNBA games might have given her nostalgia, so it seems she switched to a different sport for a change. She’s definitely recovering from her left wrist surgery, which she underwent to avoid arthritis. For now, she has only a few months before rejoining her WNBA sisters for gameplay.

After six weeks of rest, Reese will be returning to the court, as she has inked a contract with Stewie-led Unrivaled League. The 3-on-3 format league is expected to kick off in January in Miami. While the Rams vs. 49ers game is over, Reese’s off-season tour continues. Now, fans are speculating about her next stop. What do you think? Comment down below.
