Angel Reese is already one of the most popular players in the WNBA.

She entered the professional league with an NCAA championship title on her resume and became an All-Star in her rookie year.

A rival of Caitlin Clark, Reese has also penned numerous endorsement deals

The LSU product will be joining the Unrivaled 3-on-3 league founded by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier.

Reese took part in an interview with Athlon Sports and was asked about the opportunity.

“I’m excited for the league’s first season!” the 22-year-old told the outlet.

“It’s amazing to be a part of a league that gives equity to players.

“I’m looking forward to playing with the best athletes and really using the time to focus on my game and getting better too.”

Unrivaled is a three-player versus three-player professional basketball league.

The league features six teams with five players on each team.

The inaugural season will begin in Miami in January.

Reese will play in the league which includes WNBA players Chelsea Gray, Kelsey Plum, Arike Ogunbowale, Jewell Loyd, and Stewart and Collier, among others.

The 2024 Rookie of the Year Clark will not participate in the league.

It was revealed by the Rivaled co-founder Collier that the team winner of the tournament will receive at least $250,000.

Reese will continue her WNBA journey – despite false rumors about her uncertain future with the league.

She recorded a league-leading 13.1 rebounds per game and 5.1 offensive rebounds per game.

Reese also posted a record 15 consecutive double-doubles this season.

Unfortunately, she suffered a season-ending wrist injury late in the campaign.

Reese underwent successful surgery and is expected to be ready for the Unrivaled league and the 2025 WNBA season.
