One of the most talented defenders in the UFL this year was Wyatt Ray, who had a fantastic campaign with the San Antonio Brahmas. After receiving NFL interest from a few different teams this offseason, Ray is now signing with the Miami Dolphins, per Aaron Wilson.

Wyatt Ray was an offseason addition for San Antonio, and one who fit right into first year DC Will Reed’s defense. Ray was a starter in all 11 games he played in this season, making an impact for a defense that totaled the most sacks of any UFL team in 2024.
Ray himself had an excellent outing, racking up 24 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and six TFL’s. He had an impressive 73.9 Defensive Grade, via PFF. Wyatt also had 15 quarterback hurries on the year.
The #UFL had a ton of depth this year at the EDGE/DE position. Thought @XFLBrahmas DE Wyatt Ray had a fantastic year (24 tackles, 6 TFL, 5.5 sacks). @wyattcoleray finished with an impressive 73.9 @PFF Grade. One of the many defensive players who should get an NFL look. pic.twitter.com/J7zClzn8pZ

Wyatt Ray is no stranger to the NFL, having played with several different teams across his professional career. He’s got 20 tackles and two sacks to his name in the NFL.
Ray most recently was with the Denver Broncos, but was released in March of 2023. Now, he’ll have an opportunity to make his return to the NFL, after his success with the San Antonio Brahmas.
