Former Huskers Earn All-UFL Honors

Adrian Martinez, former Nebraska quarterback // Birmingham Stallions, UFL

ARLINGTON, TEXAS – The inaugural All-UFL team announced their selections on Wednesday, featuring three former Husker football players.

Leading the charge was All-UFL quarterback for the Birmingham Stallions Adrian Martinez. Martinez, a Nebraska alum who finished his final year of college at Kansas State, earned the top signal-caller spot after leading the league in rushing with 528 yards, while passing for 1,750 yards and 15 touchdowns. His 15 passing touchdowns is tied for second for most in the league.

Defensive lineman Carlos Davis was named to the All-UFL team as a teammate of Martinez’ on the Stallions. Davis led the team with seven sacks, tied for second most in the league.

Finally, Jordan Ober of the Michigan Panthers was selected as the All-UFL long snapper.

Martinez and Davis’ Stallions compete in the USFL Conference Championship on Saturday in Birmingham at Protective Stadium with kickoff set for 2 PM CST. The game can be seen on ABC.
