Hurricane Helene became a Category 3 storm on Thursday, and as it’s getting ready for landfall in Florida, the timing lined up to mess with some sports schedules.

We’ve already seen some baseball games with playoff implications (see below) affected, and there could more in storm with a weekend full of college football and NFL games on the list.

So which games could be affected by the storm as it gets closer to the Gulf Coast? We decided to put together a roundup of reports we’ve seen. Let’s break down some of those contests, some of which have already been moved or postponed:

Inter Miami vs. Charlotte FC is scheduled for Saturday night, so that could be affected.

This college football game has been rescheduled to Nov. 29.

Will Miami and Virginia Tech be affected? As of publishing, not yet.

Will we see any changes for the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers game on Sunday, or the Cincinnati Bengals and Carolina Panthers game?
