As we get ready for another fun weekend of college football, fans can get excited knowing that we have a couple of prominent matchups upcoming. We are starting to get into the thick of things of the schedule, with conference playing having started.

But which games are the biggest must-watch games on the schedule? Here at Newsweek Sports, we have you covered.

Here are the five biggest “must-watch” games on the docket for this weekend.

5. No. 3 Ohio State @ Michigan State

On paper, this game shouldn’t be that exciting but the Buckeyes could potentially be in for a good contest. Michigan State is 3-1 on the new year and is coming off a tough loss to Boston College last week. They will be getting back top wide receiver Jaron Glover in this game, giving them more explosiveness to their offensive attack. While Ohio State is heavily favored entering this game, road games in college football are never easy.

4. No. 8 Oregon @ UCLA

This game will be kicking off at 8 p.m. PT, bringing back some late-night football. For those familiar with the old Pac-12 After Dark mantra, weird things tend to happen late at night. The Ducks finally got things rolling in their last game, dominating Oregon State. This game seems like a blowout waiting to happen but the Bruins could have some fight left in them yet. For at least one half last week, they went toe-to-toe on the road against the LSU Tigers. Maybe they can bring that energy for a full game and if they can, this game gets very interesting.

3. No. 15 Louisville @ No. 16 Notre Dame

After losing to Northern Illinois at home a few weeks ago, the Fighting Irish have bounced back with two straight solid performances. Now hosting the Cardinals, Notre Dame can make another statement early on in the season. Louisville is 3-0 on the year and taking down the Fighting Irish on the road would provide them a massive boost to their resume. This game could be a classic in South Bend.

2. No. 20 Oklahoma State @ No. 23 Kansas State

After a crushing defeat last week to Utah, Oklahoma State gets a tough matchup on the road against Kansas State. The Wildcats got smoked by BYU themselves, setting up an exciting Big 12 matchup this week. Both teams know that a win could be huge for the conference seeding, giving fans the potential for a back-and-forth matchup. Kansas State likely has the edge entering the game but the Cowboys always seem to find a way to disregard odds each season.

1. No. 2 Georgia @ No. 4 Alabama

The big matchup of the weekend belongs to the two powerhouses from the SEC. These two always bring the heat when they play each other and it should be no different this time around. Alabama will be looking to knock off Georgia to show that they are still the kings of college football. For the first time since 2008, the Crimson Tide are underdogs at home. This game will have massive implications on the College Football Playoff seeding, with both squads primed to make the tournament.
