Mya Lee netted scored three goals for Walla Walla Community College’s women’s soccer team Tuesday, Sept. 10, as the Warriors picked up a 7-0 win at Walla Walla University in College Place.
Victory upped the Warriors’ record so far this season to 5-0-1.
Among highlights for the Warriors was the Lee hat trick while teammates Madisyn Kelly, Kenna Berry, Emoree Lash and Maya Johnson each scored a goal. WWCC also credit assists to Morgan Santos, Karen Villegas and Cass Conrad while goalies Viviana Ochoa and Gabi Vela combined to record the shutout with one save.
The Warriors ended up outshooting WWU, 35-1, as Santos set up Lee for their first goal in the 15th minute.

WALLA WALLA UNVERSITY, at BUSHNELL FALL INVITATIONAL â The Wolves completed their first meet so far this year with Mariana Posada finishing sixth on the women’s leaderboard with a 76-75 that was 12 off the lead held by Oregon Tech’s Quincy Beyrouty, and the WWU men ended up with Andrew Kuljis ranked 19th at 77-79-74 on the road in Springfield, Oregon.
The Wolves are to be back at it Sunday when they host their Wine Valley Invitational.
