Whitman College, in Walla Walla, wrapped up its 2023-24 golf season with five standouts, including both women and men, selected by the NCAA Division III Northwest Conference to its honor roll while the Blues also had Bill Howard named NWC Men’s Coach of the Year.
Recognition for the Blues featured Mason Remington named both NWC Men’s Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year. The Seattle native was also selected by the Golf Coaches Association of America to its All-Region VII Team as well as its D-III All-Freshman Team.
Two more Blues made the All-NWC First Team Selections alongside Remington, with both Alex Knox and Ben Sweet honored.
Meanwhile, the Whitman women had two golfers making their All-NWC First Team. They included both Cindy Lou and Ellena Jeong.
