Award season is fast approaching in the WNBA.

The regular season’s conclusion brings focus to what figures to be an eye-catching postseason. It also sets up what looks to be quite the race for the W’s top individual prizes, including MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year.

The award ceremonies started in earnest on Friday when the league’s Peak Performer awards were handed out. Three of the WNBA’s biggest stars were greeted with the award due to their dominance in a specific category compared to the rest of their peers.

Caitlin Clark, A’ja Wilson and Angel Reese were named the league’s peak performers in 2024. All three were recognized for being the WNBA’s best in some category: Clark led the WNBA in assists, Wilson led the WNBA in points and Reese led the WNBA in rebounds.

With that, the Sporting News gives you insight into how they compared to their fellow WNBA talents.
